Education & Awareness
Ginger's Tomorrow has partnered with the
Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR) to raise awareness of lupus
nationwide by sponsoring, volunteering for, and participating in
fundraising walks in Kansas City, Dallas, Houston and Denver. Joined
by our friends, families and co-workers who "walked with us to cure
lupus," Team Ginger's Tomorrow and friends have contributed research
dollars and raised awareness in each city. Walk days are
inspirational...walking toward a cure with patients, survivors and
their loved ones truly keeps us motivated.
We were proud this May when Ginger's Tomorrow
Board Member Angela Barmby Greenberg was honored at the ALR
Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. In recognition of her
instrumental role in starting a new event, Angela received the ALR
Founder's Award.
Eddie Kennison's Quick Start Foundation is
dedicated to finding a cure for lupus and also based in Kansas City.
Our proximity to Eddie's team enables us to support each other's
events.
